Dear Year 5 parents and children,
It is good to be back at school this week and seeing the eager faces of the children telling me all about the wonderful time they had at Bawdsey! I will upload some pictures soon that Ms Antonita and Ms Lynne have taken - if the children would like to upload any pictures onto the blog pls fwd them by email to me and I can put them on here.
Today we did not go on the trip to Waitrose, but instead we seek to combine this trip with the visit to Acorn House Restaurant which I am trying to reschedule for next week. I will let you know when the date has been finalised.
This week we'll be celebrating the birthdays of Katherine and Nico - Happy Birthday to both of you :)
Homework tonight is to walk around the house calculating the carbon footprint of each room which should prove interesting. Please help your children to also find out about the countries that they consider environmentally friendly and not so friendly.
