Hello Everyone!
Welcome to the new term and another new Unit of Inquiry in Year 5 - the science based unit on Light and Sound.
The children will be doing lots of experiments to better understand the properties of Light and Sound as well as carrying out practical avitivities like making a collaborative musical instrument within a group.
For this we need you to help your child contribute materials such as cardborad boxes, egg cartons, bubble wrap, tin cans, yoghurt pots, tubes, strawas etc.
Thank you to those of you who have already sent things in.
The children enjoyed a visit to the Science Museum last week and I will shortly be able to let you know of a few more trips planned for this Unit.
